Q: Why should I use a disc jockey entertainment service
instead of a live band?
A: Variety- Live bands are
limited to their play-list. Main Event DJ Service has an extensive musical library including music dating back to the 1940’s.
Dancing- People like to dance to many different styles of music which Main
Event easily provides.
Cost- Fewer personnel can mean a lower cost.
Sound- Main Event can tailor the level of music for the appropriate setting.
Interaction- We will (your preference) lead your guests in various games,
contests, specialty dances etc. to encourage participation.
Continuous Music-
Main Event DJ Service does not take breaks. Your music stops only when you want it to.
Q: How long do you perform?
A: We provide entertainment for as long as
your event requires and as you specify.
Q: Can you provide ceremony music?
A: Yes, we provide same site music for ceremonies. Our responsibilities for your
ceremony may include: ½ hour of prelude, processional, ceremony, recessional and receiving line music.
Q: How soon after I book my hall should I book my
entertainment?
A: Depending on your location we recommend 9-24 months in advance. The best services go fast.
Q: What is a light
show?
A: Special effect lights to enhance the party atmosphere. Go to our Equipment
page to view a video sample of the lights we use.
Q: How many people do you bring to my event?
A: Usually we bring a DJ/MC and an assistant.
Q: Do I get
to meet my DJ/MC before my reception?
A: Yes, Main Event DJ Service provides
a one-on-one meeting at a minimum of 1 month before your reception to assure you we will satisfy all of your details. Your
DJ/MC’s name and phone number appears on all of our service agreements.
Q: Do you play requests?
A: We honor all requests made prior to your affair.
At the event, we honor most requests during the time period allotted.
